A couple of fashion businesses have poked fun at their own goods this year, including Diesel’s limited edition ‘DEISEL’ collection and ASOS’ misprinted delivery bags.

While factory rejects and cheap knockoffs are often shunned by customers, deliberate design “errors” by original brands are suddenly highly coveted, and the ironic collaboration between adidas and Alexander Wang will not disappoint in the latter field.

The duo’s ‘Season 3 Drop 1’ collection sees blatant “flaws”—inspired by defects produced during the manufacturing stage—printed on black, white, burgundy, and red activewear.

Here, logos are pasted upside-down, graphics become pixelated, and items are permanently wrinkled. You can easily get a cheaper piece from a factory outlet store, but where’s the fun in that?

The ‘Alexander Wang x adidas’ collection drops worldwide on 21 April, and can be purchased on the adidas and Alexander Wang websites, as well as in select retailers. View some images from the perfectly imperfect range below.
