Kim Kardashian’s latest fragrance, ‘KKW Body’ has been making headlines as of late.
Recently, Kardashian took to Instagram to show her fans behind-the-scenes of her upcoming perfume bottle, which takes the shape of her nude body.
Perfume fans were quick to point out that the bottle looks strikingly similar to French designer Jean Paul Gaultier’s 1993 perfume called ‘Classique’.
Both bottles feature a woman’s physique, without its arms and legs or head and netizens are slamming Kardashian for ripping off the design of the iconic bottle. However, Kardashian has responded to the copycat accusations.
According to Cosmopolitan, Kardashian said that while she loves Gaultier’s bottle, her source of inspiration was sculptures.
She added that the perfume is something “personal” to her, therefore naming it ‘KKW Body’ and having the bottle in the shape of her body makes sense.
We took a mold of my body and made it a perfume bottle. @kkwfragrance
