Whole Foods Expands Beyond Organic Grocery With A New Home Décor Store
Whole Foods is expanding beyond its organic grocery chain.
The company has just opened a lifestyle boutique in one of its New Jersey locations. Dubbed Plant & Plate, the store features a selection of beauty, garden and home goods.
The store’s page states that it carries “Hedley & Bennett aprons along with local favorites like Beaucycled jewelry, floral crafts from Hoboken and Brooklyn-based Apotheke candles. The shop also features pottery by Bridgewater’s own Keiko Inouye.”
Whole Body coordinator Genevieve Monette, told Popsugar that the boutique is designed to replicate someone’s home, and allows you to pop by the store and purchase a small gift for someone while picking up groceries at the same time.
Customers can look for handmade pottery, seasonal home décor pieces, and copper accessories that are trending now.
Though currently there is only one existing store, there is a possibility that Plant & Plate will be expanding due to its growing popularity.
