Xiaomi’s Latest Flagship Smartphone Looks Uncannily Alike The iPhone X

Xiaomi has announced its latest flagship phone, the ‘Mi 8’, and it looks strikingly similar to the ‘iPhone X’.

It comes with a 6.21-inch OLED screen and is Xiaomi’s first flagship phone to come with a notch. The phone is also equipped with a 20-megapixel selfie camera, a curved glass back panel and an aluminium frame, similar to the Apple model.

The smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 845 processor and has a 12-megapixel dual-camera that has received a score of 105 by image quality measurement site DxOMark.

While its camera’s capabilities surpass the ‘iPhone X’ by a few points, its overall score trails behind Samsung’s ‘Galaxy S9 Plus’ and Huawei ‘P20’.

The ‘Mi 8’ will make its debut in China at CNY$2,699 (US$421) for the 6GB RAM plus 64GB variant.

Xiaomi will also release the ‘Mi 8 Explorer Edition’ and ‘Mi 8 SE’ that measures at 5.88 inches.
