Apple has announced that it has upgraded its 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros with Touch Bar for faster performance; it has also introduced new pro features to the lineup.

Both models now come with the new eighth-generation Intel processors, with the 15-inch laptop boasting up to 70-percent improved performance and the 13-inch version running up to two times its original speed.

At default, the MacBooks still cost the same: the 13-inch model starts at US$1,799, whereas the 15-inch notebook has a starting price of US$2,399.

However, you’ll have to shell out US$6,699 for the maxed-out configuration of the 15-inch MacBook Pro.

In this rollout, Apple introduces two new features that will yield maximum performance from your laptop, making it “the most advanced Mac notebook ever.” There’s an option to boost your MacBook Pro’s RAM to 32GB at US$400 and another to endow your device with 4TB of storage space at a cool US$3,200.

If you opt for the Intel i9 processor over the i7, it’ll set you back another US$300. These configurations push the total price of the MacBook Pro to US$6,699.

As extravagant as the price might be, this model isn’t even the most expensive Mac computer—the fully-loaded 2017 iMac Pro will leave a US$13,348-sized dent in your bank account.
