Snapchat: Here’s How to Send a User-Created Lens to a Friend

Step 1: On the camera screen, tap the smiling face icon to the right of the capture button to open the Lens Carousel. Note: You can also tap on the camera screen to open the Lens Carousel.

Step 2: Tap the smiling face icon to the left of “Discover” to open Lens Explorer. Note: You can also swipe up on the screen when the Lens Carousel is open to go to the Lens Explorer.

Step 3: Tap the Lens you wish to send to a friend.

Step 4: Tap the “i” icon above the capture button.

Step 5: Tap “Send to Friends.”

Step 6: Tap on the friend(s) you wish to send the Lens to. You can also tap “Send To …” at the top of the screen to search for a user manually, or tap “New Group” to create a new group of users to send the Lens to.
