Crackdown 3 | New Info and Gameplay Footage Just Released

Microsoft announced the official release date of Crackdown 3 over a month ago, but it's still hard to believe that the game we've been waiting years for is finally about to arrive.

Originally announced in 2014, Crackdown 3 has obviously been delayed many, many times. So it was a big deal when finally, at Microsoft's X018 conference last month, we were given the ultimate release date of February 15th. Since that announcement, Microsoft has been very secretive about Crackdown 3's progress–until now.

It's Really Happening

The video above shows off new single-player and creative director Joseph Staten provides additional details on what you're seeing. You should listen to what he has to say, but we can tell you that what we're seeing looks fantastic.

Jaxon (the character designed off of actor Terry Crews) is ready for action, and so is a long list of other agents each with their own unique skills and bonuses. We don't get to see these other agents in action here, but we do get a see a bit of the destructive power that Jaxon possesses.

Hopefully, we'll get a glimpse of Crackdown 3's crazy multiplayer mayhem in the next update before the final release. It's still hard to believe this game will really be here so soon!
