German stationery maker STABILO has been prominently highlighted by creatives on Twitter for its clever series of advertisements.

Conceptualized by DDB Group Germany, the campaign titled ‘Highlight the Remarkable’ sees the ‘STABILO BOSS’ highlighter accentuating extraordinary but “invisible” women who helped change the course of history.

Women featured in the ads comprise Edith Wilson—a former US First Lady who assumed her husband’s presidential role after he was paralyzed, Katherine Johnson—the NASA mathematician whose calculations resulted in the safe return from the moon to earth, and Lise Meitner—who discovered nuclear fission.

Designers, agencies, and internet users have commended the move, calling it, “brilliant” and “genius.”

“I am buying 10 STABILO highlighters,” tweeted ‘natsume142’.

Great ad! I would like to highlight Rosalind Franklin, who significantly contributed to the discovery of the DNA! pic.twitter.com/ZiG7lBNDEN

I LOVE this, and I love Lise Meitner.

For those of you who didn't know Meitner was a pioneer of nuclear physics. Talks of her work say she "shared" credit with her research partner Hahn, but actually they awarded him the credit because she was a woman. https://t.co/1hJAOWco69
