Apple might have just announced its upgraded 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros with Touch Bar, but if this latest research note by Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities is anything to go by, you might want to hold your horses on that MacBook purchase.
The information details Apple’s hardware lineup for the fall season, which includes the long-speculated three new iPhones. In summary, the predictions are as follows:
iPhones: three new models comprising a 5.8-inch OLED model, a 6.5-inch OLED model, and a 6.1-inch LCD model
Macs: upgrades for the MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Mini, potentially with Intel’s newest eighth-generation Core processors. A fresh budget model could also come along, though it might not be a MacBook Air as previously anticipated.
iPad Pros: updated models with ‘Face ID’, sans ‘Home’ button, new 11-inch and 12.9-inch versions
Apple Watch: bigger displays, 1.57-inch and 1.78-inch screens with improved heart rate detection capabilities
AirPower: might finally ship and launch into mass production one year after its debut
AirPods: if AirPower does indeed come to fruition, AirPods might be updated with a compatible wireless charging case, amongst other upgrades
