Lay’s Releases Eight New Flavors Including ‘Cajun Spice’ And ‘Thai Sweet Chilli’

Snack company Lay’s is releasing eight different mouthwatering flavors for its diehard snack fans.

Lay’s ‘Tastes Of America’ is the largest range of flavors the company has ever released. The varieties represent the local flavors from various regions across the US.

The eight flavors include ‘Cajun Spice’, ‘Chile Con Queso’, ‘Chesapeake Bay Crab Spice’, ‘Deep Dish Pizza’, ‘Fried Pickles with Ranch’, ‘New England Lobster Roll’, ’Pimento Cheese’ and ’Thai Sweet Chilli’.

‘Cajun Spice’ is inspired by dishes from the Gulf Coast, and contains spices such as garlic, paprika, onion and oregano. ‘Chesapeake Bay Crab Spice’ comprises crab spice seasoning, inspired by crab shacks found along the Atlantic. ‘Chile Con Queso’ features cheddar queso and paprika, which draws flavors from the iconic Tex-Mex taste.

The ‘Deep Dish Pizza’ contains Parmesan and Romano cheese, inspired by the famous Giordano’s pizza recipe, and ‘Fried Pickles With Ranch’ comes with ranch and sour cream flavors, inspired by fried pickles at Midwest state fairs. Transport yourself to Boston with the ‘New England Lobster Roll’, which contains sour cream, butter, onion powder and bell pepper, inspired by the Northeast lobster shacks.

The ‘Pimento Cheese’ has the taste of creamy cheddar and cayenne pepper, inspired by the Southern charm, while the ‘Thai Sweet Chilli’ boasts the taste of sweet chilli sauce and paprika.

Fans can purchase all eight flavors from 30 July to 23 September at retail stores. Alternatively, fans can purchase the full collection via Lay’s website.
