It’s not meant for complete beginners but surely can help you create a creative, standout resume.

Canva’s free plan is probably all you need for creating resumes. You get 1 GB of storage for photos and other assets, as well as access to thousands of templates (that includes resume templates along with dozens of other categories). There is a $12.95 per month Canva for Work plan that includes thousands of free photos, more organizational tools, and team collaboration. But if resume- is all you’re after, you won’t need it.

Kickresume: Good for Inexperienced Resume Creators and Industry-Specific Resumes

They also have a monthly ($15) and annual ($48) plan, both of which get you over 30 resume templates, 20 cover letter templates, an unlimited number of resumes and cover letters, and real resume examples.

Visual CV: Good for More Customized Resume Versions

Visual CV provides great templates to help you build your resume and then gives you tools to customize your resume for each job to which you apply. The design templates for the resumes are on-par with the other tools that we’ve mentioned, and the resume creator is also friendly and easy to use. You can import your existing resume or create a new one using the available templates. The templates are customizable to a great degree, so you don’t have to worry about your resume looking similar to anyone else’s.
