How to Get Spider-Man’s Free PS4 Theme | Gaming News
There’s no doubt that Spider-Man is one of the biggest games coming in September 2018, and fans of the iconic Marvel superhero thankfully won’t have to wait too much longer to get their hands on a copy of the forthcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive. Now, in order to boost the excitement surrounding the game, Sony, Insomniac Games, and Marvel recently collaborated to provide fans with some juicy eye candy in the form of a free PS4 theme based on the title, but it’s only available for a limited time, with the promotion ending on September 7.
As indicated in the tweet below from the official PlayStation Twitter account, grabbing the free Spider-Man PS4 theme is incredibly easy. All one has to do is head over to PlayStation.com/Spider-Man, log in with their PlayStation Network account, scroll down until they reach the “Giveaways” portion of the page, and then click the blue “Claim Reward” box. After this, users will be given a unique PSN voucher code that they can redeem on their PS4.

Those who go on to download and apply the free Spider-Man PS4 theme will be given the chance to gaze at artwork by longtime Marvel Comics artist Marko Djurdjevic. For starters, the theme offers a beautiful background image depicting the Web Head doing battle with two out of the six Sinister Six members, as Rhino and Scorpion do their best to take Spidey down. What’s more is that the majority of the home menu’s icons change to show red and black web designs, while various sound effects and musical cues from the game are featured as well.
All things considered, the release of the aforementioned free theme is yet another piece of evidence that hype for Spider-Man has become practically palpable at this point, especially since the PS4 exclusive has already received heaps of praise from critics. As a matter of fact, our review declares that “Insomniac Games has nailed every crucial element of Spider-Man, from the look to the gameplay to the writing”, and if that’s not enough of a ringing endorsement, then we don’t want to know what is.
Spider-Man is set to launch on September 7, 2018 for PlayStation 4.
