Windows alternative softwares for Linux – Info Linux

I’m finally deciding to switch to from . The only thing bothering me is Windows equivalent softwares for Linux. I’m aware of Gimp that works same as Photoshop, but besides that I’m null. I’m specially looking for all types video editing tools like Premiere pro, after effects, blender etc. I’m aware of the fact that Linux isn’t entirety focused on editing tools, but still what’s the best you can get?

Also, does Linux OS(Ubuntu/lUbuntu) automatically detect your hardware (CPU, gpu, motherboard etc.) and installs equivalent drivers for them or will I have to install them manually from 3rd party sites?

EDIT: Someone recommended to specify the hardware details.

Intel Core i5-6200U/8 GB/1 TB/Win 10/AMD Radeon R5 M335 4GB DDR3

EDIT 2: Could there be any WiFi and audio drivers issues as well? I tried lUbuntu on virtual box before and it worked fine back then.

Thank you for the help
