#1 Use Different DNS

Well, if you are using the DNS server allocated by the ISP, then you need to change it. The Spotify error code 4 often occurs when Spotify servers reject the DNS configuration. So, in this method, you need to change the DNS servers to fix Spotify error code 4 from Windows.

Step 1. On your Windows computer, head to the Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center.

Step 2. In the next step, select the option ‘Change Adapter settings'

Step 3. Now right click on the connected network and select ‘Properties'

Step 4. On the Networking tab, select ‘Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then click on Properties.
